How to get started
- Sign up in the producers' area and create your company profile, or claim the one that already exists.
- Choose a package above and complete the purchase: the invoice arrives by email.
- As soon as the payment is recorded, the package is activated on your profile for twelve months.
- In your Sales settings, enter how you get paid and how much shipping costs, then upload your products.
Frequently asked questions
Who collects the money from orders?
You do. The customer pays your company directly, by bank transfer, cash on delivery, collection or your own payment link. Olivum never handles the money from orders.
How does the commission work?
It is calculated on the goods in delivered orders, shipping excluded: 8% with the Base package, 6% with Premium, 4% with Extra. Every month you receive a summary and the invoice. Cancelled orders pay nothing.
Can I sell to businesses too?
Yes: on each product you can set a wholesale price from a given quantity, and business buyers enter their invoicing details.
Which languages is my profile published in?
It depends on the package: Base in Italian, Premium in Italian and English, Extra in Italian, English and German. This applies to your company profile and your products; in languages not included in your package, the Italian text is shown.
Are producers from other countries welcome?
Yes: olive mills and olive growers from across Europe can create their profile and choose a package.
Are translations included in the package?
No. Premium lets you publish your profile in Italian and English, Extra in Italian, English and German: the translated texts are provided by your company. If you would rather we handle the translations, that is a separate service: quote on request.
